BlackOUT is a student organization at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. We are comprised of LGBTQIQA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and questioning) people of color and our allies.

For the past 10 years, BlackOUT has been dedicated to fostering community that creates political awareness around the intersections or race, class, gender, and sexuality. In addition, we strive to fight oppression by collaborating with other social groups in the community.

This includes co-sponsoring events, forum, panels, and group meetings. BlackOUT provides each one of our members a safe & open space to express their identities, ideologies, and thoughts, especially right here on our blog!
